The Hi Fin Platy, also known as the Moonfish or Southern Platyfish, is a hybrid fin variation of the Xiphophorus maculatus platy. The Hi Fin Platy was named because of the very tall dorsal fin that extends over its back. There are many different colors and color combinations of this fish. The most common colors are red, yellow, orange, blue, and wag varieties with black tails.
